Biography
Jennifer has been working in the mental health field since 1984. She has a Doctorate Degree in Psychology, and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Her work includes behaviorally challenged children, struggling families, conflicted couples, and adolescent angst. Jennifer's training is in Family Systems Theory, although she does draw from other theoretical orientations.
Jennifer is a Christian and a mother of two teenagers. She enjoys helping others to be the best that they can be.
As a therapist
Jennifer has been in private practise since 1996. In the beginning of her career, Jennifer specialized in working with children with behaviour disorders and addressing a variety of unhealthy family dynamics. Jennifer's scope of practise now includes all ages and a variety of issues that people are faced as individuals, couples or families.
In organizations
Jennifer brings her years of business experience. She owned and operated a secretarial service in the downtown core of Vancouver for six years. Jennifer is familiar with organizational struggles and enjoys working with the corporate sector. Her expertise includes stress management, team building, teaching and facilitating.
